This paper details the authors’ participation in the PAN 2013 Author Profiling competition, applying the Common N‑Gram (CNG) classifier—based on character‑n‑gram frequency dissimilarities—to predict authors’ gender and age groups, and reports modest classification accuracies on English and Spanish test sets. The work contributes to authorship profiling and stylometric analysis by describing the CNG methodology and its performance in a forensic‑linguistic evaluation.
